System REQ is a point of use system that automates Patient Charge/Cost Accounting.
The system allows the patient charges to flow from the REQ TOUCH SCREEN STATION to your billing system, creating patient invoices without the time- consuming step of keying in numerous patient charges.
From the Staff perspective, only 3 simple steps are needed to issue an item to a patient:
- Log onto the system (this also allows access to the locked cabinet if you choose that option)
- Nurse touches the name of the patient on the screen to whom she issuing the items
- Nurse scans the bin bar code label as she removes items from the shelf
